Block a caller
Calls from the number you block never ring your phone. The caller hears a "not in service" message, a busy tone, or a hang-up, whichever you pick. You can unblock them later the same way.
Before you start
- The server connected to your AI app, with your VoIP.ms API credentials saved or the server running on your device. How to connect
- Access to these areas, granted when you connect:
- Manage call flow
- View phone numbers
- View voicemail
What to ask
Copy this into your AI app and replace each highlighted blank with your own details. Leave out a line you don't need; the assistant asks about anything missing.
Block calls from [the caller's number] on my VoIP.ms number [your number]. Play them [what they hear: the "not in service" message, a busy tone, or a hang-up]. Show me the change before you make it.
If your AI app lists the server's workflows (in Claude, the + menu), you can pick “Block a caller” (block_caller) instead and fill in the same details.
What VoIP.ms charges
VoIP.ms does not charge for caller ID filters.
VoIP.ms sets these prices; check its site for the current ones. This server's own plans are on the pricing page.
